 Word Clouds

Today we will:
  • create word clouds on various web sites 
  • identify ways in which word clouds can be utilize in a school setting and in your personal life
  • Identify websites that allow you to create word clouds
  • Create word clouds in the form of shapes, initials.
  • Export word clouds - explore where you can export your word clouds.
  • Add word clouds to blog.
Please post your virtual world summary by Friday, link and picture to Our Web Tools blog.

You should find a post title Virtual Worlds - if yours is already taken - then you can add to the description.
REMEMBER only one can edit the post at a time.

ASSIGNMENT 1

Create a word cloud on Wordle - about Social Media - describing what you  have learned
  • Make Social Media - stand out
  • Type words that you have been introduced so far this semester:  embed, link, post, blogger, etc.  
  • Take a screen shot and place it on your blog - as a post (picture only - you do not have to write about Wordle) you can if you would like.  You can also place your picture in the sidebar instead of as a post.  You can create and place as many Wordle's as you would like on your blog.

 ASSIGNMENT 2
  •  Create a post titled- Word Clouds - explain word clouds, purpose - fun/educational and give websites of which your audience could visit to create a word cloud.  Add pictures to make your post stand out!
