There are numerous Firefox addon's to make your life easier, to play games, etc.  Browse through the different categories and add some addon's.  You do have to restrat Firefox for them to appear.  They should appear next to the url window, or you may have to click Tools on the menu bar to see the addon's.

There is a neat one under games called Destroy the Website.  Kind of cool.  Try it!

Google offers money to people who report bugs in their Chromium project (which bears the popular Chrome browser as fruit). and others such as:  YouTube, Blogger, Orkut apart from Google.com. Android, Picasa or Google Desktop don't fall under it yet, but Google said they might expand it to these too in the future. So how much do you get? It depends upon the intensity of the bug found - it could be anywhere between $500 to $3100.

Create a blog post about each product that we have explored - you can put them into one blog post - calling it Google Products OR create a separate post for each product.  Make sure you are very detailed and show pictures of each product in action - for example conduct a search using Google Maps - and take a screen shot to use as your visual explaining the product.  Search for a book or magazine - take a screen shot of the book/magazine, etc.  This should take you a while to complete.

iGoogle - make sure you have your iGoogle post complete as well - refer to Tuesday's assignment for more details.

Take notes on your wiki page - create a new page for each tool.

Today students worked on missing assignments for the first 20 minutes - added account names to our wiki page, etc.

We were going to go over social bookmarking - but instead explored the chat feature on Meez.com

Please make sure all your links work on your blog and wiki - remove last name from any user name.

What you must complete:

• Create links on your student Wiki page

• Link to class blog - socialmedia3o.blogspot.com

• Link to your blog

• Create a new page on your wiki site for your avatars to be kept on.

• Create a welcome on your wiki page - explaining what your wiki page is going to be used for - sharing tools, etc.

• Create a new post with a MEEZ avatar - evaluate tool - describe its features, strengths, weaknesses, etc.

• Create a social bookmarking account on
• Symbaloo
• Delicious (you have to create a yahoo account)

• Change Google browser background with a personal picture

• Evaluate Voki tool if you have not done so 

• Add your Delicious Account name to our class wiki - ahssocialmedia.wikispaces.com

• Add Meez name account to class wiki - ahssocialmedia.wikispaces.com

Today students added a blog list and links list to their blogs. They also explored Avatars further.

Blog Lists

On side bar, click add Gadget. Add Blog List

Create Blog List which consists of all classmates blogs

Add each students blog to list

Find each students blog address on Social Media Class Blog (socialmedia3o.blogspot.com)

Rename each students blog – with student first name.

Create Links List

o Link to Social Media Class Wiki - ahssocialmedia.wikispaces.com

o Link to Student Wiki Page

Create links on Wiki Welcome Page

Create an animated avatar on MEEZ and post it to your blog and Wiki avatar page. Go to each avatar website and create an avatar - post each on your avatar page. You can put the animated avatar as a post or gadget on your blog.
